My students learn best about the world of biology through hands-on, real life experiences. In order to have these experiences, we need materials, as well as protective equipment to keep things safe and sanitary. Students learn best when they see, hear, smell, touch, and observe. These materials are only part of the tools they need to understand and internalize the hows and whys of the world around them. From the tiniest of atoms to massive ecosystems, students need to manipulate, touch and explore to learn effectively in our ever-changing world.
