In my classroom there is a very diverse group of learners that seem to thrive on technology. With all the advancements in the 21st century our students need to have a way of keeping up and even exceeding the rapid growth pace. I am fortunate to have iPads for the students to use, but we are limited on apps or softwear to achieve some of our skills and goals throughout the year. My students are very tech savy and can use technology to help them learn. By adding these special kits in my classroom I am adding appropriate learning tools to use in conjunction with our iPads to build and reinforce skills we are learning. This is a great hands-on method that incorporates technology with tasks that use problem solving and critical thinking to achieve sucess. These kits are also a great way for my special education students to generilize their learning and apply it to real life situations. I want my students to build a solid foundation for their educational journey.
