Our first project will surround electrical engineering. Students will be learning about electrical engineering and circuitry. We will be doing fun projects to create lanterns that light up. The small lantern will include a LED light, that will be operated by a button battery. They will learn how to make switches to turn lanterns on/off. Black and Brown students at BMO Elementary will be introduced to the many branches of engineering and what this could mean/offer in their own lives. The branches include: electrical engineering, computer engineering, chemical engineering, and civil engineering.
