All of our students want to read good books. Unfortunately, we have a minimal amount of books written in Spanish, and the available ones are tattered, smelly, and pretty disgusting. I can't bring myself to weed them because they are highly circulated among the ESL population. The books in Spanish have a clear yellow sticker on the spine, making them easier to identify for the students. Just looking at the shelves, you can see the disparity between languages. These books will transport our students to magical places and also help them become better readers along the way. By donating to this project, you are putting the children's future in their hands.
