Students will use the Science Scholastic subscription to explore engaging texts, brightly colored photographs, and fun activities. It will also serve as a cross-curricular tool, allowing students to place the magazines in dry erase pockets, to be annotated during ELA class. The subscription includes a hard copy and digital copy of each issue. Students with oral accommodations will use headphones to listen to the content read aloud. Charging Chromebooks at home can be challenging for many of my students. They often have transient lifestyles or live in financial uncertainty. Allowing students to charge their devices in my classroom will relieve students of this burden.
