Stand up desks for middle schoolers will help enhance their educational process. They make for a more flexible workspace for students. They are mobile for easier collaboration between students, and there is scientific studies that show a link between grade improvement and standing desk usage. It is thought that standing helps students focus and avoid "zoning out" after long stretches of time sitting. Additionally, researchers believe that standing up helps improve concentration, engagement and memory. Standing also promotes student independence and responsibility, and it helps combat childhood obesity by encouraging activity and discouraging sedentary habits.
