These letter tile kits, activities, and manipulatives provide ways for students to practice letter sound relationships in order to build reading foundational skills and enhance fluency. Research shows that this is an area in which students need to receive explicit instruction and have time to practice the skills being taught. Our data shows that this is an area for growth within our grade level. The materials in this project will help facilitate this learning. Students will have individual letter tile kits to use for practice at home and at school. The items in this project will also be used within the classroom to reteach and provide extension activities.
