These classroom materials will help me create a comfy and inviting classroom to make sure my students have the BEST learning environment they need to be successful and grow in 1st grade. These books will help me begin a diverse and inclusive library for the wide range of students that I will meet this year and following years. Some of my upcoming students have been virtual all year and coming to a warm and inviting classroom will make the transition to a new school easier. During read alouds, I want my students to see characters and real life people like them making a difference.
