When students are given the ability to choose books to read that are relevant and interesting to them, they will be more involved in the process. Next school year I will be working with a group of readers that require foundational reading skills so they can be successful moving forward. Students need to feel they are reading age appropriate material to be successful as well. As adults we know that reading is an integral component of any job. In assisting me to build our classroom library the students will be able to see people similar to them in books and read about possible relevant topics in their lives. Please help us build a library for my students.

About my class
