Shakespeare is required reading in my class, but it shouldn't be a miserable experience. One of the major complaints that my students had during the 2020-21 school year was that the version of Shakespeare's Much Ado we had access to was difficult to read. While they had access to a modern translation online, it was also difficult to stay on task and follow along using the online version. This project will put a physical copy of the modern translation in the hands of each student in my class so they have a better chance of reading (and maybe enjoying) Shakespeare. I have previously used the same translation with another class and I have to say, it made all the difference for my students.
