My high school special needs students all come from diverse backgrounds but most importantly they all come from low income communities where having a printer is considered a luxury and not a necessity. Although located in a low community supplies should never keep our students from succeeding. Providing a printer for my classroom will allow us to print work and display so that my students can see their work around our class with pride. Also, a printer will allow me to print anchor charts that sometimes are an essential part of our students success.
