The donations to this project will help to improve my students’ reading abilities that have suffered during the pandemic. I want to put exciting books into their hands so they can nurture a love for reading! To be able to sit with students in a book study would really help impact our classroom. Our school library has been closed during the pandemic and I just want to put books in their hands again! These books will provide for rich group discussions in our classroom. They will be able to choose books that interest them. The best way for my students to increase their reading ability is to read more! My students have already shown a promising interest in reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with books!
