My students come from a mix of different backgrounds, cultures and experiences. STEM activities such as these are a great way to create connections between real life situations and science literacy. Creating the next generation of innovative thinkers will help students navigate the future! These activities can spark conversations about careers that utilize these skills in both science and mathematics. The roller-coaster kits, simple machines and vehicles will expose students to career options they may never have imagined in architecture or physics. The different STEM kits are a great way to expose students to the different varieties of configurations. I would like to personally thank you in advance for supporting my goal to create a STEM-rich classroom for our future scientists, mathematicians, and engineers. I know my students will absolutely love the activities.
