We remember the most significant moments in our life but how do we teach them to children, especially when they do not have firsthand experience? This book is an amazing account of what it was like that day and will help my students better understand where we are in the world today because of 9/11. The gravity of this day will be better processed by students when they read the story as a group and are able to discuss the impact of events. Thank you for helping me to teach history through reading.
