My students have different learning styles and diagnosis that makes it hard for them to focus and remain seated. With the traditional classroom, my student's mobility is limited. Flexible seating will provide them options on where they sit and how they learn while being responsible for their learning. The products that I have selected will make my classroom more accessible for my students, provide a variety of seating options to make effective learning choices, keep them engaged and increase motivation. When students are allowed to wobble, rock, bounce and stand, their minds are more alert and focused. This is exactly the outcome that I hope to achieve with my students. The wobble stools are adjustable and will allow students to sit at desk/higher tables but will still allow some movement. These will be extremely beneficial for my ADHD students that just need to get the wiggles out. The beanbags, chair, and lap desk will allow for additional comfortable floor seating options. All these materials will benefit my students in their learning process and provide them with a fun, learning environment. I am so excited to see how the flexible seating will improve my students behavior and work ethics.
