The books that I have chosen will allow all my students to see themselves as the main characters. They will be able to make stronger connections with the books because of their relatability. I have chosen books that can connect the students to their cultural backgrounds and just the day to day struggles of being a kid. The main purpose of all the books is so each student has the opportunity to embrace their love of reading and be life long readers who pass down that love to future generations.
