By donating to this project, students will be able to read a class novel with an actual class set. This whole year, my students have been reading books by pdfs on a computer screen. They need the opportunity to have a physical book in their hands to read. The "Percy Jackson" series ties to my sixth graders' social science standards. It is full of Greek mythology. We are going to do a novel study until the end of the year. They are very excited about it, and I would love to be able to provide the physical book to them to follow along. They will also need the text to complete the in-depth activities that I have created for them.
