We are known for having one of the top middle school indoor percussion programs in Kern County. The program has had countless number of Junior High Open Championships for almost a decade. As always, we always looking to expand and reach new heights in our pursuit of making wonderful music. One way that will help us is by funding this project. An iPad is a wonderful tool for an indoor program because it allows us to run the soundboard from the stands. This allows a student to focus more of their time on an instrument and the show rather than fixing soundboard. Our performers should focus on creating the music rather than trying to fix problems that they cannot hear. This iPad will serve as our soundboard from the stands allowing the staff to fix any volume levels or kinks that might show up during a performance. Indoor percussion holds a very special place in many of my student's hearts, this project will help our program reach a new level of musicianship on the gym floor!
