These Magic writing/drawing Boards are used on a daily basis. Since many of them come from low income families, students will have their own board and they will be able to use it at school and at home. It will be a great tool to help them develop their pre-writing and writing skills. They can practice writing letters and their names. They are also great for use during our math lesson for writing numbers and number words and for drawing shapes as well as for drawing addition and/or subtraction sentences. I would also provide them with additional writing materials, such as different colored paper, and writing tools they can use for drawing any picture they would like. This will bring out their imagination, creativity, and higher level thinking skills.
