My students attend a school that is more than 50% low income. We may not have as much as others but our students work just as hard if not harder. My special students need lots of extra support when they are in the educational environment. They require a defined area, fidgets to use in order to stay seated, and tactical supports when learning how to print letters and numbers. They require extra encouragement and rewarding when it comes to learning new skills. These items will greatly improve their willingness to engage in the lesson and to be willing to participate. With an inviting and exciting environment in place I know they will blossom into beautiful learners. They work so hard and these materials will help encourage them. They deserve as many rewards as I can give them.
