My students would greatly benefit from school supplies to maximize their reading strategies such as highlighting, annotating, and finding key words and phrases! My students are made up of a plethora of low income students who can not afford basic school supplies to use in the classroom and while working from home. They're also often dealing with malnutrition. They often come to me for snacks to ensure they're focused. Due to behavioral issues, I also use these treats as incentives for academic achievement! Edible incentives encourage my students to be the best version of themselves!
