My students struggle with using headphones that are covered in scratchy foam, which is what we are provided. They need headphones when they work on their tablets and the computer so the sound isn't overwhelming within the classroom. The magnet tiles are something that I can use to teach science and turn-taking skills during playtime. They are also large enough that I don't have to worry about them being a choking hazard. The various fidget toys will help students with their sensory processing needs. The bean bag will give my students a safe place to sit and calm down when upset. We have quiet time each day, which is when I will use the light display to create a calming and soothing atmosphere. I try to provide my students with everything they need to be successful, but sometimes I need a little extra help getting them what they need.
