I love teaching our students all about Social Emotional learning and helping them develop coping skills and learn how to deal with their emotions and handle challenges they may face at school and at home. I teach lessons in each classroom monthly on topics such as identifying emotions, emotional regulation, coping skills, mindfulness, problem solving, friendships, getting along with others, teamwork, conflict resolution, anger management, and a variety of other topics. I also work with students who need extra support by teaching them in small groups and provide individual counseling lessons. Our Counseling resource library and lessons could use an update. My students love to read! I also use a lot of books when teaching Social emotional learning lessons to my students, and I would like to update my library by purchasing some more books to update my resource library. Thank you!
