Being a teacher of students with a wide range of abilities and disabilities, it is important to have the technology to support a wide range of learning styles! Now is an imperative time for these kids. Not only are they learning necessary academic skills to succeed in life, but important life skills as well. An interactive whiteboard would not only provide my students with more engaging lessons but would give them a variety of ways to participate in learning. For example, one of my students may answer questions verbally, but another student may need to go up to the board and circle their answers. With an interactive whiteboard, I can give each one of my students access to curriculum in ways that will help them progress despite their setbacks.
