It offers a sensory experience that can help them learn by making them active participants, which is helpful with students with multiple disabilities that range from a quadriplegic to cerebral palsy. Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning environment. In addition, the specific activities requested benefit students with a range of learning disabilities. Hands-on activities create another way of engaging a way to learn. Last, it supports practice problem solving and critical thinking.
