I am requesting a color printer so my students can print the words and sentences they write. My students love working on computers but seldom have the actual experience to see their printed work come to life. These students may have limited opportunities to see their work (whether that be letters, numbers or sight words) come alive in the print form. By having our own printer in our classroom, I will be able to have the students use their imagination with Chromebooks to create and print their own stories. I hope to give these young students a sense of pride, confidence and self-esteem to become gifted writers.
