I want to expand my classroom library to include more fiction books with characters from diverse ethnic backgrounds. I also need memoir or autobiographies of people of color. My students are allowed to read the book of their choice daily in class. I need more graphic novels for reluctant readers, these are a bridge toward reading longer books with paragraphs and chapters. I want to do a whole class novel with Anne Frank’s Diary of a Young Girl next year and need a classroom set. Please help my students learn to love reading and books!
