These floor seats will be used in two areas of my classroom. The first is in my library center for comfortable reading with a book and perhaps a stuffed animal associated with the book (for example Pete the Cat will sit on the child's lap when reading "Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons). The children can move them if they wish into the reading tent for quiet reading or sit with a friend sharing their favorite book. Another area in the classroom the floor seats will be used for is in the iPad Center. The floor seats can be moved anywhere for quiet work individually, with a partner or even with myself for individual tutoring. The beauty of these floor seats is they are easy to move anywhere and take up little space in the classroom. Maybe we will use them for outside reading as well. The possibilities are endless in a Pre-K room.
