The selected manga and graphic novels will help round out the school's collection. The manga specifically will fill in the missing gaps for that specific series. The graphic novels will help add more contemporary and diverse options for students to choose from. This will help give quality reading options to students at the OC. Many students here have negative feeling related to reading or simply are just not interested in reading at all. However, this can be combated with books that are of high interest, are relatable, or are on their reading level.
