Boogie boards are a great way for kindergarten students to learn teamwork, self regulation, how to make good choices, time management, social skills, and self-awareness. Additionally, these boards help teachers provide individualized instruction to students based on their learning needs. I have noticed that my students are much more engaged and have greater success with academic achievement goals after we have done center work. Students are happy and enjoy using a different style of writing. The items that I have selected for my project will allow me to set up more whole group learning in my classroom. Allowing students to be more engaged in a more unique way of writing, keeping their attention with an easy clean up.
