This book, entitled Once, will allow them to continue learning what life was like for young children during WW2. This book will have a direct impact on my students because they will be able to relate to why parents choose to move their children to a safer place during difficult times. This will teach my students to have empathy for other people, by allowing them to experience what it was like for a child during those difficult years of the Nazi invasion lead by Adolf Hitler. They learn to be more receptive to people's differences in race, culture, and religion.

About my class
