Many high school students are overwhelmed by the rising cost of college. Students scramble in their senior year for scholarships but don't know where to look or how to earn free money for college. I will educate students and parents about their financial aid options and provide resources to lessen the financial burden of higher education. I will offer workshops for students to research and apply for scholarships. My goal is to increase students applying for and winning scholarships. Students will use these scholarship resources to enhance their applications. Students will receive hands-on opportunities and assistance to write winning scholarship essays and prepare for college.

About my class
