We have done a ceramics unit every year, but having the proper tools to aid us, the students can create better work and be proud of what they accomplish. The extruder will allow students to create better handles and embellishments, the slab roller will save on time so the students won't have to roll out the clay by hand. The potter's wheel will give the students an opportunity to learn "throwing" and give them an appreciation for the skill involved in making pottery. Any of these tools will greatly add to their experience with clay.
