My students love hands on experiments and tangible items they can manipulate. These items will help them work those fine motor skills and higher order thinking skills. With game based centers, my students will be more engaged and likely to complete each task without knowing they are learning and practicing math, ELAR, and Science skills. My students also love puzzles and I want to give them the opportunity to not only complete regular puzzles, but also the kind that require higher order thinking. I want to cultivate a classroom that thinks outside of the box.
