Most of my students are back to learning face to face in a typical school model, though they all, at some point, were learning from home. While at home, most students were able to choose the most comfortable spot for learning. I would like to mirror that experience in the classroom, by offering seating options. It is a long day, moving from class to class and it is my hope that they will look forward to coming to my class and being a bit more comfortable. I incorporate a variety of learning strategies, various grouping strategies, and now I hope to add flexible seating options. The seats are easy to move around to allow for various grouping and are easy to clean. All of this will help stimulate learning and engagement.
