These items will be used in the library and the readers will be available for check out. This project is for the library, not my personal classroom. There was a flood in our area of the country recently, which destroyed materials in the library. These items would be very helpful in bringing our library back up to speed and encouraging the voracious readers that we have at this school. Some of these items would be available to take home so that reading continues when out of school. The big books are essential to getting through to the early learners. The library funds have been depleted over the years and without the help of entities such as DonorsChoose.org, funds will not be allocated to replace these much-needed items.
