Flexible seating has been a popular term in the educational world for a while. Traditionally, students should sit in rows of desks for 7 hours a day during school. While there's a time and a place for sitting still and paying attention, it should never consist of the entire day. New, innovative seats allows students to keep their busy body moving, while their brain focuses on the new content they are learning. Students are able to pay attention better and therefore learn and understand the material better when they're out of a stiff chair all day. Not to mention, students with ADD and ADHD thrive off moving chairs that allow them to keep busy but in a small way.
