A warm and responsive classroom culture is essential because students need to feel safe and valued to thrive like all of us. They get the sensation of learning through the vibrant colors of the room and their exposure, allowing them to emerge themselves into the learning environment. With a college-themed classroom, my scholars will be able to explore the array of options, have an open dialogue with their peers, and explore different writing styles. It will also be an eye-opener for most, if not all, of my scholars. This is an excellent path in creating a classroom culture that focuses on setting expectations and routines designed to foster relationships and a sense of safety and belonging. It will also be terrific for my scholars to see the different types of colors and all the places you can go. There is no stopping them from achieving their goals and aspiration. It is vital to promote college and career readiness to my scholars as early as possible. It is allowing them to think big and allowing them to expand on their knowledge.
