This one-year program, offered in partnership with PBLWorks, is a highly interactive and ongoing professional development experience. It includes a summer institute and follow-up workshops that focus on implementing this particular project-based AP U.S. Government and Politics curriculum. Summer Institute: Four-day training in the Summer 2021. The workshop includes whole group work, small group activities, reflection and critique, and individual learning, as well as a number of built-in break times. During the Summer Institute, you will: Learn about Gold Standard PBL Design Elements and Teaching Practices Apply PBL practices to the AP U.S. Government and Politics Knowledge in Action Curriculum Adapt and prepare to implement the first project (Founder’s Intent) students.
