When the non-academic needs of a students are met, students are more likely to succeed in their academics. If I can provide a student with school supplies, uniforms, fidget toys, and much more- students can focus during class and families won't have to be stressing about making their ends meet. I will be able to provide the students with the tools they need and teachers won't have to personally pay for the supplies. With the pandemic, our school lost a lot of their funding. Our students often don't have a soccer ball or basketball to play with during recess. With the donations, students will enjoy coming to school and they will have an opportunity to have the tools that other students often take for granted.

About my class
