Our class needs magnetic letters, trays and support materials to support phonics instruction. Learning to read can be complicated. My students can learn phonics best by making and writing words by manipulating letters and sounds. My students learn best by actively engaging in hands-on learning activities. We will use these materials to support individualized instruction and direct instruction in phonics to promote learning. The patterns in reading will then be used to support their writing. My class is a group of active learners. These materials will support their learning style and help them become better readers.
