Kindergarten is full of social-emotional learning, social skills, play, and behavior management. This requires lots of books, games, toys that can be used for imaginative play, and hands-on activities. This project helps supply my classroom with the toys that we will need throughout the year. It includes lots of imaginative play toys- such as play doctor, kitchen supplies, blocks, STEM building materials, etc. In special education, it is essential that I build my classroom off of a positive reinforcement system. Students will be able to earn the most preferred toys such as sonic, Minecraft, unicorns, and minions. I want my classroom to be a place where students want to be, work hard, are motivated, and see their preferences interests.
