Research shows that all children benefit from sensory activities. A sensory walk would be added to our playground so that all of our students would be able to utilize this area to engage in sensory play and exploration. With a picture communication board accessible on the playground, all students, either verbal or non-verbal would be able to let their wants and needs be known. Tpt has several excellent examples of Picture communication boards and sensory walks that would be used to develop and model a board specific to our student's needs. these gift cards would help fund this project for our school. Please consider helping us reach all children in every way possible!
