In a typical school year there are several meeting and lots of learning that occurs on a classroom carpet. This carpet will give us enough space to distance students if need be as well as bring a splash of color to our classroom!! This meeting space creates a classroom community. A classroom rug is an essential place in our classroom, where most of our learning takes place. A classroom rug is an essential place in our classroom, where most of our learning takes place. We start and end our day on our classroom rug. We use the classroom rug to have Morning Meetings, listen to Read Alouds, participate in SmartBoard Activities, Whole Group lessons, and Center Time. While we currently do not have a rug in our classroom.The rug would be a great addition for us.
