The products that I have selected will help benefit my special education students by providing them with the materials they need to be successful. Due to COVID-19, we have noticed our students need more support with colored visuals, hands-on activities, and sensory breaks that involve things like fidgets, sand, and play-doh. Teachers Pay Teachers is a wonderful resource to get lesson plans and activities for my students. For example, students are working on learning sight words and will build them with sand or play-doh. We also have a large need for visual schedules and visual aides to support students during transitions and everyday tasks. The color printer will help maximum visuals and provide visual supports for students in home, school, social life tasks. These visual schedules need laminated colored icons and velcro. Whiteboards are another great learning tool for my students, and they are incorporated into almost every activity in my classroom. A visual timer is a great benefit to my students, as we incorporate timed activities throughout our day.
