In middle school, students tend to shy away from answering in front of the classroom knowing that everyone else is hearing. With the use of the whiteboards not only will all my students feel safe by sharing their answers but they will be engaged because they feel that they are in control of their work and if they create an error they can easily swipe it away. Not only is this a great advantage for my students but I will also have the ability to effectively check for their understandings real-time.
