I wish to read a story that reflects our school's diverse student and staff community and shows the community coming together to build something beautiful. Reading research shows that when students follow along while a proficient reader reads aloud, it helps strengthen their reading capacity. Students will write and reflect on characters to write their chapters based on their identity and culture. Together we will write our own stories and weave them into our community. We plan to create our school garden in the spring.
