At our Early Learning Center we currently share a small playground for 4K, Head Start, and a Child Care Center. Our 80 4K students play on it at the same time. We have 3 swings and one small climbing area with 3 slides. Although we offer chalk, balls, and bikes, students run out of fun ways to play and interact with peers appropriately. With our project, we hope to provide our students with more activities to keep their interest and promote active play during our outdoor learning time. The crawl structure, blocks, and ramps set we have selected will be fun new experiences for them to move their bodies in fun ways, and explore the world around them. They can build a house, a bridge, a store, or a variety of other ideas to allow multiple students to be actively playing together.
