My students currently have a space to go to when they feel anxious, angry, or worried, however, this room is not conducive to helping them utilize their calming strategies in order to return to learning. By donating to our project you will be providing my students with an area where they can feel safe to work through their emotions. A place that will ultimately help them to get back on track so learning can happen again. With the funding of this project, this area will have calm lighting, music, sensory/fidget items a yoga mat/cards as well as positive affirmations for students to read.
