Our classroom is new to the program and we are still building up supplies. With Covid-19/CDC guidelines we are working to maintain social distancing. The furniture will be used as a desk for any new student we receive. Students enter our program from Child Development Watch, and Child Find throughout the entire year. The manipulatives can be used across a range of different subjects, including math ( 1:1 Correspondence, identifying shapes), English Language Arts, as well as helping reach social emotional goals. These materials will give my students a chance to explore language through play by encouraging creativity, especially on rainy days when we can't venture out to the playground.
